These are some basic earbuds. I compare them to the ones you might buy at a gas station or the local discount store. We have Big Lots around here and honestly, I think I’ve gotten the same brand there. These are not the worst, but certainly not the best. They are not all that comfortable and the microphone is too low to be functional. The button sometimes has a mind of its own, stopping and starting music, accessing voice controls, etc. On the plus side, they do sound decent…about what you would expect from $9.00 ear buds. If you need a second set or a cheap pair to use on a plane, in the gym, etc where you don’t mind if you lose them, then these might be perfect for you.
I received these for free for my honest evaluation.
This unit is tiny. So tiny I have lost it numerous times. There are three buttons on this thing. two at the bottom and a multifunction slider switch at the top. There are many menus and features, but honestly it is way too difficult to make your way through the menus to use them. I really can’t figure out how to use this thing reliably. The combination of button presses leaves me so frustrated that I would rather pull out my phone and record using the built-in apps.
I can’t recommend this thing. These are my opinions and you could be better at it than me.
Oh wow! MPOW Armor Plus is the absolute best Bluetooth speaker I have ever heard!
This thing is awesome! Looks, sound, quality and customer service…all hands down the best.
The first thing you will notice when you open the cardboard shipping box is that this is a hefty speaker. The size is massive for a portable Bluetooth speaker. At about 8.5 inches long, 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide it is the largest speaker of its kind that I have ever seen. The whole thing is wrapped in rubber that provides drop protection. On the front and back there are iron trimmed speaker grills that are also made of metal. You wouldn’t want to, but you could throw this thing from a moving vehicle, off a bridge and then run over it with another truck and it would probably still work. (* I didn’t try this, I like it too much!) I probably am exaggerating a bit on that last idea, but you get the picture. It is one tough speaker!
Let’s take a look at what’s inside…
Two 8W speakers blast the sound out the front with a passive radiator bass port on the back that thumps the bass out the backside. The sound is crystal clear at any volume level. I didn’t notice any distortion when playing my music. I play a variety of styles from Rap to rock to country it all sounds great!
Strong Bluetooth Connection once you pair this speaker with your phone it remembers the connection and will connect automatically. The range is outstanding! I can sit this on my kitchen counter and walk all over my house, even through some walls and rarely lose the connection.
5200mAh Battery 22 hours of music play without skipping music due to low battery. You can even use the built-in USB port to charge your phone from the speaker battery!
IPX5 Splashproof/shockproof performance
Charge indicator lights You can quickly see the charge of the battery from teh blue LED lights near the charging port.
Play Music and take calls with the built-in microphone
3.5 mm audio cable and Micro USB cable You can use the included audio cable to play music from non-Bluetooth devices. Charge your speaker with the included micro USB cable.
Wrist rope and carrying bag These can be used to carry your speaker and protect it when it is not in use.
Two EQ Modes Switch between EQ modes for indoor and outdoor listening ( I haven’t been able to tell much of a difference in the sound from these two modes, but it has been snowing and very cold here, so I haven’t used it outside yet. I look forward to testing this feature out in three weeks on the beaches of Florida.
What about the controls? Well, what about them?
7 buttons are displayed on the top of the speaker…Power, Track back, Volume Down, Play/Pause, Volume up, Track up and the call/EQ mode button.
One thing I really like about this speaker is the control buttons. Most of these Bluetooth speakers have four buttons. The plus and minus button serve to change volume and advance tracks. The Armor Plus has 7 buttons! I love the dedicated volume buttons and track advance buttons. You no longer have to worry about accidentally passing up a favorite song because you were trying to turn up the volume.
This thing is flat out awesome. I doubt anyone who is serious about their music would be disappointed by this speaker. I highly recommend it and would say it is the best large format speaker I have ever seen.
I received this speaker at a discount for my honest review and I am so very glad I did.
FYI…customer service is amazing with this company as well. They truly want their customers to be happy and will go to great lengths to ensure that the customer is satisfied!
Whoa! This thing is blind your neighbors bright! I mean it…all flashlights say not to shine it directly in your eyes, but with this one…they mean it!
I have not had a brighter flashlight. All from a beautiful aluminum casing that fits nicely in your hand. No big bulky mag light size, this is about 7 inches long and comes with a wrist strap and a belt clip. The head of the flashlight slides out to magnify the light and allows you to have a small, intense light or to expand that light to become less intense, but still brightly light up a larger area.
There is a rubber push button that operates the light and turns it on and off. A firm press turns the light on and off and a softer press changes modes from on to flash to SOS flash.
It operates on three AAA batteries and has nice glow ring inside the head that shows you where it is even in the dark! I am ordering more for my wife’s car and for my mom’s car.
I highly recommend this flashlight without reservation!
I love a good hot sauce. Sometimes I’m in the mood for a melt your face heat and other times I like a milder, hot sauce that doesn’t burn for a long time, but just adds a little heat right at the moment.
Mr. Bisuits is the perfect mix of both! It provides a heat that gets your attention while you are eating it and reminds you of it just a little bit after you eat.
The first bottle came damaged from amazon. I contacted the company and amazon and was pleasantly surprised when the owner contacted me back and sent a bottle from the warehouse. Amazon just wanted to give me my money back.
A great sauce and great customer service? That is a win-win! I had it on pork chops tonight for dinner and I must say it was tasty! A nice mix of habanero pepper, onion, garlic and just a bit of a sweet hint from the honey and citrus. It is very good and I highly recommend it!
Brandon Colker has provided an outline of a system that has proven to work for many. How to Make Big Bucks with Big Blogs provides many points of interest to bloggers looking to turn their words into money.
Many of the points made can be found from other sources on successful blogging, but one would potentially have to search many different sources to put these together. Mr. Colker has placed them in one neat package for the reader.
While it sometimes sounded like an infomercial, the information is presented in a quick read or, as was my case, listen on an audio book format.
If you are looking for this type of information, then this is a nice, neat, small package that provides it all in one place.
I received a link for this audio book in exchange for my honest review. You can get your copy by clicking the following link.
If you’ve never used one of these expandable garden hoses I recommend them…with one warning (see below).
This one is a nice blue color with some added features that sets it above the rest. This hose set comes with a handle that has all the normal patterns, full, shower, flat, soaker, jet, etc. It also comes with a hose hanger that fits over the water hydrant. This hanger is not really functional for me because all of my outside hydrants are low to the ground, so the hose still lays on the ground. If you had a higher faucet then this would work really well for you. It comes with all the rubber washers you would need. Inside the hose is a flexible PVC hose that also provides some protection against hose burst.
The only thing I’ve found with these…not just this one specifically, but all expandable hoses…you lose pressure in them if you don’t have a lot of water pressure at the hydrant. I washed our cars to get the winter road salt off and after spraying, you can see the hose start to recoil and the water stream diminishes to a slow stream. If you stop spraying the pressure will build back up and the hose will expand again, but it is kind of a pain.
I recommend these hoses and specifically the RY Gardener hose if you’ve got good pressure at your house.
I received mine at a discount for my honest evaluation. You can get yours at the link below.
